CHAPTER SIXTY-FIVE : The WEIGHT OF BLO

The morning sun had barely risen over Germany when a black Rolls-Royce cut through the empty streets.

Inside, Friedrich Casanova sat in silence.

One hand rested on the steering wheel.

The other tapped impatiently against the leather.

His eyes never left the road.

"...Marriage."

He let out a dry laugh.

"What a joke."

The image of Arshia flashed through his mind.

Her endless talking.

Her ridiculous imagination.

The way she smiled over the smallest things.

"So irritating..."

He muttered.

"So unbelievably annoying."

His jaw tightened.

"And yet..."

He sighed.

"I have no choice."

His phone buzzed.

Wilhelm Falkenberg.

Friedrich answered.

"I'm five minutes away."

"I know."

Wilhelm's calm voice echoed through the speaker.

"And Friedrich..."

"Hm?"

"If you ever make my daughter cry..."

Silence.

"...I'll bury you beside your ancestors."

The line disconnected.

Friedrich smirked.

"Threatening a Casanova."

"You've got courage."

Falkenberg Estate

The massive iron gates slowly opened.

The mansion looked more like a palace than a home.

Luxury.

Power.

Money.

Everything screamed authority.

Friedrich stepped inside.

Wilhelm was already waiting.

"So..."

Wilhelm smiled.

"Coffee?"

"No."

"Straight to business."

Wilhelm nodded.

"I expected nothing less."

The two men entered Wilhelm's private study.

The heavy wooden doors closed behind them.

Wilhelm poured himself a drink.

"You still don't understand why I returned."

"I know enough."

"No."

Wilhelm looked out of the window.

"You know almost nothing."

For a long moment...

Neither spoke.

Finally Wilhelm broke the silence.

"Do you know..."

"...your father once saved my life?"

Friedrich frowned.

"What?"

"He did."

"We were twenty-two."

"We had nothing."

"No money."

"No empire."

"No power."

"Only dreams."

Wilhelm smiled bitterly.

"I would've died that night if Hendrich hadn't carried me out of that burning warehouse."

Friedrich remained silent.

"We built everything together."

"Every warehouse."

"Every company."

"Every shipment."

"We called each other brothers."

His smile slowly disappeared.

"Until..."

"My family was attacked."

His fingers tightened around the glass.

"I trusted only one man."

"Hendrich."

"And somehow..."

"The attackers knew exactly where we'd be."

"My wife was shot."

"My daughter had to be smuggled out of Germany."

"I lost everything in one night."

"So I believed..."

"...only one person could've betrayed me."

"Hendrich Casanova."

Friedrich slowly looked up.

"You believed?"

Wilhelm nodded.

"I believed."

"But hatred..."

He laughed quietly.

"Hatred grows faster than truth."

Meanwhile...

India.

The airplane doors opened.

Warm air rushed inside.

Divyanka smiled the moment she stepped outside.

"I missed this weather."

Aaron adjusted his sunglasses.

"So this is India."

She laughed.

"Welcome."

He stretched dramatically.

"It's hotter than Germany."

"Obviously."

She rolled her eyes.

A taxi stopped nearby.

Aaron picked up both suitcases.

"I'll carry them."

"You carried them during the entire flight too."

"So?"

"I like taking care of my girlfriend."

Divyanka smiled.

"You really are impossible."

Aaron leaned closer.

"But your impossible."

She immediately looked away.

"Stop saying cheesy things."

"You blush every time."

"I don't."

"You are literally red."

"I am not!"

Aaron laughed.

"My babydoll is lying."

She lightly punched his arm.

"Shut up."

He caught her hand before she could pull it away.

Instead of letting go...

He kissed her knuckles.

Softly.

"You deserve every bit of happiness."

Divyanka looked at him for several seconds.

"...Thank you."

Germany

Kavira unlocked the apartment door.

Karl stood behind her with both hands inside his pockets.

"You still haven't changed the password."

She glared.

"Because I forgot."

"No."

He smiled.

"You hoped I'd come back."

She ignored him completely.

Walking inside...

She began packing her remaining books.

Legal files.

Old journals.

Painted bottles.

Paper stars.

Karl quietly watched.

"You kept all of these?"

"They're memories."

"You wouldn't understand."

His smile disappeared.

"You'd be surprised."

She zipped another box.

"I'm not going back."

"I know."

"You don't."

"I'm serious."

"I know."

She stopped packing.

"You know?"

Karl walked closer.

"I know you're angry."

"I know you hate me."

"I know every reason."

"But..."

He looked directly into her eyes.

"I also know..."

"...that you still look for me every time you enter a room."

Kavira froze.

"I don't."

"You do."

"I don't."

"You just did."

She immediately looked away.

Karl smiled to himself.

"I win."

"You are unbelievable."

"No."

"I simply know my wife."

She picked up a cushion and threw it straight at him.

It hit his chest.

He laughed.

"You missed."

"I wasn't trying."

"Liar."

She folded her arms.

"You are the most irritating man alive."

Karl nodded proudly.

"And yet..."

He picked up one of her paper stars.

"You still made room for me in your memories."

For the first time...

Neither of them argued.

Silence filled the apartment.

Not awkward.

Just...

Heavy.

Outside the window...

Rain slowly began to fall.

And somewhere far away...

A man watched the apartment through binoculars.

He smiled.

"Keep fighting."

"The more they love..."

"...the easier they break."

He lowered the binoculars.

His lips curved into a cold smile.

"The next move begins now."
