CHAPTER FOURTY-FOUR: Hijacke

The private jet cut through the dark clouds as Kavira sat silently near the window.

Her journals rested beside her carefully.

Tiny paper stars.

Painted bottles.

Childhood letters.

Fragments of a girl who once believed life could still become beautiful.

But her mind wasn’t there.

Only one sentence echoed endlessly.

“Your husband killed our father.”

Kavira shut her eyes tightly.

No.

Karl wouldn’t do that.

…Would he?

A tear slipped quietly down her cheek.

Unknown Warehouse — Germany

Meanwhile—

Divyanka sat tied to a chair.

An apple stuffed in her mouth.

Hands tied.

Hair messy.

And still—

she looked furious instead of scared.

Raven Vasiliev stood nearby while talking on speakerphone.

The voice from the other side growled coldly.

Friedrich Casanova.

“So,” Friedrich said sharply,

“you have both Kavira and Divyanka, right?”

Raven winced slightly.

“…About that.”

Silence.

“I only got Divyanka.”

Dead silence.

Then suddenly—

“ARE YOU FUCKING STUPID?!” Friedrich roared.

Raven moved the phone slightly away from his ear.

“What kind of mafia can’t kidnap ONE GIRL properly?!”

Divyanka rolled her eyes dramatically from the chair.

“Mmmph mmph.”

Raven sighed.

“She’s talking again.”

Friedrich sounded murderous now.

“What happened to Kavira?!”

Raven rubbed his forehead.

“She went to India.”

“AND YOU DIDN’T STOP HER?!”

Divyanka suddenly spat the apple out herself onto the floor.

“You both are idiots.”

Both men went silent.

Divyanka glared at Raven.

“I swear when I get free, I’ll inject twenty needles in your hand.”

Raven blinked.

“What?”

“And you,” she shouted toward the phone,

“I’ll perform surgery on your brain without anesthesia.”

Friedrich actually sounded offended.

“Excuse me?”

“I’ll cut your heart wrong intentionally,” Divyanka continued furiously.

“I’ll remove random organs.”

Raven stared at her in disbelief.

“Why are you threatening people medically?”

“Because I’m a doctor!”

Friedrich snapped instantly:

“SHUT THIS GIRL UP!”

One of Raven’s men awkwardly shoved another apple into Divyanka’s mouth while she kept yelling muffled threats.

Then Raven gave her a sleeping pill forcefully.

Within minutes—

she passed out angrily.

Even unconscious, she looked irritated.

Raven sighed tiredly.

“She’s terrifying.”

Friedrich ignored that completely.

“Now speak.”

Raven’s expression became serious.

“I went to the mansion. A guard told me Kavira went to India.”

Friedrich narrowed his eyes.

“And?”

“She’s returning today.”

Silence.

Then suddenly—

Friedrich smiled slowly.

Darkly.

“What time is the flight?”

“Two hours left.”

Friedrich laughed softly.

Cold.

Dangerous.

“Perfect.”

Raven frowned slightly.

“Boss?”

Friedrich leaned back lazily.

“Let’s hijack it.”

Meanwhile — Mafia Dinner

Hours later—

Karl and Aaron finally exited the endless underground mafia meeting.

Every dangerous leader from different regions stood there respectfully.

One mafia member smiled carefully.

“Karl sir… Aaron sir… dinner tonight?”

Aaron stretched his neck tiredly.

“Fine.”

Karl nodded once.

“Arrange it.”

Soon—

they all gathered inside a luxury hotel restaurant.

Expensive suits.

Weapons hidden everywhere.

Dangerous men laughing casually over dinner like criminals and businessmen were the same thing.

Then suddenly—

Aaron’s phone rang.

Arshia.

Aaron answered immediately.

“What happened?”

Arshia sounded uneasy.

“Is Divyanka with you?”

Aaron frowned.

“No.”

“She isn’t at the hospital either.”

Karl looked up instantly now.

Aaron stayed calm.

“She probably went to the mansion to meet Kavira.”

“No,” Arshia whispered.

“I already checked there.”

Silence.

Aaron sighed lightly.

“Arshia, relax. Maybe they’re roaming somewhere.”

Karl slammed his glass down sharply.

The entire table went silent.

“What the fuck are you saying?”

Aaron looked at him.

“Karl—”

“Kavira is outside without guards?” Karl snapped angrily.

“Without security?”

“Without protection?”

Aaron frowned slightly.

“And this is exactly why she feels suffocated.”

Karl’s eyes darkened dangerously.

“You don’t understand.”

“No,” Aaron said calmly.

“You don’t.”

The atmosphere turned heavy instantly.

Then—

Karl’s phone rang.

Unknown number.

He answered coldly.

“…Speak.”

A familiar chuckle came from the other side.

Raven.

“Well hello, gentlemen.”

Aaron’s expression hardened immediately.

“Raven.”

“Guess who’s sleeping beside me right now?”

A video arrived instantly.

Aaron opened it.

And froze.

Divyanka.

Unconscious.

Laying on a mattress.

Hands tied loosely.

Aaron’s entire body went still.

Deadly still.

“Karl,” Aaron whispered quietly.

Karl looked at the screen.

And immediately stood up.

The entire restaurant fell silent.

Then another video arrived.

This time—

inside an airplane.

Passengers screaming.

Masked men holding guns.

And in the center—

Kavira.

Terrified.

A gun pointed near her head.

Kavira’s shaky eyes looked directly toward the camera.

Then suddenly she shouted angrily through tears:

“karlll!”

Karl froze.

“So now do you understand?!” karl yelled emotionally.

“Why his protection feels suffocating?!”

Karl’s chest tightened painfully.

Kavira looked directly into the camera now.

“What the fuck are THEY doing on my flight?!”

Behind her, one hijacker laughed.

Another passenger cried loudly.

The plane shook violently.

And suddenly—

Friedrich appeared slowly in the background of the video.

Smiling.

Clapping slowly.

“Well,” he said softly into the camera,

“family reunion.”

Karl’s face went completely emotionless.

The dangerous kind.

Friedrich smirked.

“You know what I love most about love?”

His eyes moved toward Kavira.

“It makes people weak.”

Karl spoke for the first time.

Quietly.

Too quietly.

“If you touch her…”

Even the mafia members around him felt chills.

Friedrich laughed.

“Oh brother.”

Then he leaned near Kavira slowly.

“She already thinks you killed her father.”

Silence.

Karl froze.

Kavira’s eyes filled instantly again.

And Friedrich smiled wider.

“So tell me…”

He looked directly into the camera.

“How long before love turns into hatred?”
